Water and Wastewater Information

Wastewater flowing from a pipe Wastewater treatment
Everybody's favorite subject. Two facilities are featured. Both of them have been carefully researched and beautifully photographed. I'm sure you'll find the discussion of both treatment plants to be entertaining and highly informative. I know you can't wait to get started!!

Not your typical water treatment facility. In fact, you may
never have seen anything quite like this before.
Unless you're into mining.

Look here for an overview of U.S. Filter's comprehensive offerings to serve all of your water and wastewater needs.

Overview of U.S. Filter
Today's worldwide market for clean water and wastewater treatment technologies is expected to grow 67 percent from $300 billion to $500 billion by the year 2000. Industry alone spends $165 billion a year to treat and process water and wastewater. In response to this, U.S. Filter has assembled a global team of water and wastewater treatment specialists delivering an unequaled range of products and technologies, and a distribution network providing local service, locally available spare parts and local equipment repair capabilities.

I offer you my relatively un-informed, but certainly well-intentioned, opinion on all kinds of software. A little commentary on hardware is provided as well. Check out the Micron Transport Notebook and the Olympus D-300L Digital Camera. The August 1997 issue of Internet World magazine did a review of digital cameras. The Olympus was ranked number one. However, it did not fair quite as well in the July 1997 issue of NetGuide Magazine.

Technical selections mingled among fun stuff. Hydraulics, statistics, wastewater, web page design, and more. You can also find my recommendation for a web site host in the web page design section.

Some links, not too many. Water, wastewater, odor control, and other environmental connections for the most part. From this page you can jump to another page consisting only of links to Search Engines such as AltaVista, HotWired, InfoSeek, LinkStar, Lycos, StartingPoint, WebCrawler, What's New, and the Yellow Pages, among many others.
Or, for a change of pace, why not take a wild, random, ride on The Rail?

Hawaii
I know this site is supposed to be about water and wastewater treatment. And for the most part it certainly is. But we all need a break sometimes. So, when you're ready to take one, why not relax with a quick trip to Hawaii. I think you'll have fun.
